If I had to pick 3 characters from the series, I think I'd go with characters from the Kiesha'ra series by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes (Hawksong, Snakecharm, etc.):
Kiss: Nicias--he goes through plenty of struggles but has a strong spirit that endures despite his trials.
Marry: Zane--he's a visionary who's not afraid to work and make sacrifices for peace. Although he had many challenges to face, he also developed a beautiful romance with the strong leading lady who later becomes his wife--Danica.
Kill: Probably one of the falcons/falcon rulers since they've done some pretty cruel things and ruined plenty of lives. They may have tried to justify those actions, but I think their power corrupted them!
Hawksong is one of my favorite YA books and I'd strongly suggest checking it out (+ the series)! Amelia Atwater-Rhodes paints a rich world in the series and her characters are strong. The romance between Zane and Danica is likely one of my favorites in YA lit as well--it feels realistic and wholesome, unlike some of the more superficial ones in recent YA books.
